AMAS4GM Facilities
360 Image of Old Machipongo Middle School (Community Center)
AMAS4GM is located within a facility that includes an on-site auditorium, which will be used for demonstrations, presentations, community events, and program showcases. This space allows us to host hands-on demonstrations of advanced manufacturing and autonomous systems technologies for students, partners, and the broader community. Additional training rooms and lab spaces are currently under development and will be introduced as they become fully equipped and ready for use.
AMAS4GM Facility Progress Update 02/05/26
AMAS4GM is actively preparing our facilities for the delivery of hands-on training and community programs. In this video, the President of Eastern Shore Foundation (Pat Cody), our Website designer (Tania Pichardo), and a homeschool student (Caleb Dail) a 3D print instructor, are installing ceiling tiles as part of the ongoing build-out. Every upgrade brings us closer to opening lab spaces designed for advanced manufacturing and education in autonomous systems.

We are very appreciative of the support from Northampton County and its facilities team, who provided new paint, ceiling tiles, modernized lock systems, and completed the installation of new HVAC systems.

The team has also relocated two 3D printers into the computer lab to begin setup and testing. Internet service and upgraded Wi-Fi are now operational, and the computer lab is being prepared for day-to-day use and upcoming training activities. We are also actively evaluating additional equipment, especially high-quality 3D printers, to ensure we select reliable machines that will support both training and long-term program needs.
Facility Progress Update 04/13/2026
Our AMAS4GM workspace recently underwent a full deep cleaning to prepare the environment for the next phase of development. The first images show the facility before cleaning, with dust, debris, and heavy use from the ongoing setup. A cleaning team completed a comprehensive cleaning effort, including dusting, mopping, mold removal, and clearing out buildup, to restore the space. The second image reflects the results: a cleaner and safer environment, now ready for painting and continued buildout of the lab and training areas.
